About
Shree Saraswati Vidya Mandir began in 2004 in Segvi Village, Valsad, with just four students, one teacher, and one small room. The goal was simple but powerful: a child’s future should not be limited by their family’s financial situation. In this rural area, most households earn around ₹8,000 a month. Families often face financial struggles, health problems, and social challenges. When life becomes difficult, education is usually the first thing they let go.
SSVM was created to make sure children don’t lose that chance. Without any government support, the school slowly grew through dedication and community trust. Today, SSVM serves more than 90 students and is supported by 12 teachers, a sports coach, and three support staff. The campus has expanded into multiple wings and has become a safe, encouraging place for children to learn and grow.
SSVM also takes care of much more than academics. The school covers the cost of books, uniforms, shoes, transportation, regular medical check-ups, and even special surgeries for students who need them. Over the years, SSVM has helped children overcome physical challenges and has seen its students go on to careers in the police force, medical fields, and other respected professions.
