About
In 2004, Shree Saraswati Vidya Mandir opened its doors in Segvi Village, Valsad, with just four students, a single teacher, and a single room. The dream was simple yet radical: to ensure that a child's socio-economic background never dictates their potential for a dignified life.

Operating in a rural belt where the average household income is just ₹8,000 per month, many families face severe structural hardships, including financial instability, health crises, and social vulnerabilities. In these environments, education is frequently the first thing a struggling family surrenders.

SSVM was built to step into that gap. Receiving zero government aid, the school grew organically into a thriving sanctuary serving over 90 students with a team of 12 dedicated teachers, a sports coach, three support staff, and a multi-wing campus. Beyond textbooks, SSVM became a lifeline, absorbing the costs of books, uniforms, shoes, transportation, routine medical check-ups, and specialized surgeries for children in need. From helping students overcome physical disabilities to sending alumni into the police force and medical studies, SSVM proves every day that given care, discipline, and opportunity, every child can thrive.
